Venue

LATINCOM 2023 will take place at Hotel Riu Plaza Panamá. This is a 5-star hotel in downtown Panama City, with a privileged location in Calle 50, in the heart of Panama’s financial district and nightlife. The Hotel is about 21km from the Tocumen International Airport (PTY), and easily accessible via Corredor Sur (highway).

In the surroundings of the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama you will find the best attractions and shopping centers in the city, such as the renowned Soho Mall located 250 meters from the hotel. In addition, the hotel is located just 10 minutes from the Iglesia del Carmen and Via Argentina metro stations so you can fully discover Panama City at your own pace.

The hotel sits comfortably near tourist attractions such as the Cinta Costera, Casco Antiguo, Causeway (the entrance of the Panama Canal on the Pacific Ocean), Panama La Vieja and the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal.

Airport

Tocumen International Airport or Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen (PTY) is the primary international airport serving Panama City, the capital of Panama. The airport serves as the homebase for Copa Airlines and is a regional hub to and from the Caribbean, South, North and Central America and additionally features routes to some European cities. https://www.tocumenpanama.aero/

Please notice that Tocumen international have two international Terminals T1 and T2.

Approximate costs (from Tocumen International Airport):

A taxi for two persons from Panama City Tocumen Airport to Panama City is priced at 30 USD, including two pieces of luggage per person. The taxi ranks are located in front of the Arrivals hall of Terminal 1 (exit P2) and Terminal 2.

Transportation

Uber is a great option of transportation with very affordable prices.
